What is the ConfirmHub service?

Founded in 2004, the ConfirmHub service is owned and operated as a joint venture of ICAP, GFI/Amerex, Tullett Prebon, and CME/NYMEX. Trade data from all members is available from ConfirmHub via a web-based interface and through the electronic interface used to facilitate STP. Trades from all members are shown in a standard format with consistent naming conventions.

Straight-Through Processing with ICAP Energy and ConfirmHub

Straight-Through Processing (STP) allows the entire trade process for transactions to be conducted electronically without the need for double entry or manual intervention. This stream-lined, easy to implement method optimizes transaction speed by allowing information to be entered and transferred electronically, eliminating the need to re-enter data several times.

ICAP Energy can facilitate Straight-Through Processing (STP) for your trades, whether executed through ICAP’s voice brokers or on ICAP’s electronic platform. ICAP’s trades are sent to the ConfirmHub service, which provides trading companies with free access to the information through a web-based portal and through an electronic interface. You can achieve STP by connecting your internal systems to the ConfirmHub service.
