Contracts are based on the Electricity Forwards Agreement (EFA) calendar. ICAP electronic trading platform offers contracts with terms ranging from individual prompt days, weeks, months, quarters and seasons up to six years out.

Giles Clark - UK Electricity Desk
Giles has spent his working life in the City. He has worked in the FX and financial futures markets for a number of institutions. In 2001 he was recruited to build up the UK Electricity desk at IEB. It was a partly due to his success that ICAP bought the Company in 2003. |

Ben Philips - UK Electricity Desk
In 1995 Ben graduated in History and Psychology. He brokered Currency Options and German Electricity before joining IEB UK Electricity Desk in 2001. Since ICAP takeover of IEB in 2003 Ben has headed the prompt short date power team. |
